Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born the 31st of January 1974. She is best known for her role as Bo on the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk who was an actor as well as a producer, director, writer, teacher, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the first moments in her life, including attending rehearsals and watching of stage plays. Silk was featured in many commercials when she was just a child. She received a Bachelor's of Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. She met her new husband, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's training in Los Angeles in 2007. When she got engaged in 2008, the couple got married in 2009. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton with the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk is known for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was expecting while filming the final episode of the third season. Silk announced her pregnancy to the fans in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on 6 January 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on the 20th of June, 2013 that the production was set to begin on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for the Fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to Silk's popularity Silk has earned a significant online following on social media.
